Come Unto Me All You That Labor

Verse of the Month

“Labor not to be rich.” Proverbs 23:4-5

September 1-7, 2015

Scripture Reading: Proverbs 23: 4-5

Come Unto Me All You That Labor

As we close out the summer months and enter into the Labor Day weekend, many people use this time to refresh and rest from their physical labor.  Families try to do one last outing together before the children start back to school.
Jesus knew that we would need another kind of rest…a rest from the labor of being burdened with the cares of this world.

“Come unto me (Jesus) all you that labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you the rest you need.” (Matthew 11:28)

If you are seeking any kind of rest, (emotional, physical, or anything) go to the Lord. He is waiting to give you the rest you need.
