Daily Delivery

Verse of the month

“O give thanks to the LORD!  Call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples … talk of His wondrous works.” (Psalm 105:1)

November 22-30, 2016

Scripture Reading: Psalm 68:19
Daily Delivery

“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads
us with benefits, the (Almighty) God of
 our salvation. Selah.”

To bless God is an act of adoration and is a benefit of all He has done for us.  The Word blessed in Psalm 68:19 means to kneel down with praise and salute, to thank God.

Salvation in Hebrew here means yshuwah (yeshoo’aw) for something saved, delivered, victory, aid, helping, health, welfare.

This word was taken from the root word (yawshah) yasha meaning to defend, deliver, rescue, get victory, being (becoming/having) salvation.  So we can derive from this that we are to kneel and bless God for our daily victories con-cerning health, wealth and safety. This is something we can all be thankful for. (cw)
