He Has Gone before You

Verse of the Month

“All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.”
(1 Corinthians 12:27 NLT)

September 22nd – 30th, 2017

Scripture Reading: Psalm 23

He Has Gone before You

Whatever you may be facing, it is a joy and comfort to know that Jesus has already gone ahead of you to make the path clear.  As you walk, Jesus is there right beside you ready to pick you up if you stumble or fall.  He is holding your hand and talking to the Heavenly Father about your situation.

Today, tomorrow or a million years from now is no surprise to the LORD.  He is the God of all creation and knows exactly what is going to happen.  We often think He is falling behind on the job, but He’s exactly right where He is supposed to be in your life.

If God is the one leading you, and you are following, you have nothing to fear.  Our tomorrows are filled will the promises of God, and they are hope and new beginnings.  If you’re not His child, come to Him today so Jesus can be with you each day to guide you.

Pray each day…Thank you Jesus for going before me and securing my tomorrows.  Today I will set my eyes on You and not worry or fear about my situation.  I will rest in the Lord and trust in Him.

“Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow (an illusion) of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me and Your rod and staff comfort me. ”
 (Psalm 23:4)
