The Gift of Saving Love

When we stop to think about it, the wonder of Christmas is more than miraculous ... it's beyond comprehension!  Jesus is the only person to have picked the day, time, place and person through whom He would be born.

Before time began as we know it, God decided He would send His Son Jesus from Heaven down into this world to redeem us back to Him.  Redemption is the gem of gems that reflects the depth of saving love gift sent from above.

At Christmas time we focus on the birth of Jesus, but there is something we often forget about this miracle baby.  All humanity is born into this world, but not Jesus.  He was sent.  Jesus was sent to earth with a mission from the Heavenly Father to save us from our sins.

As we celebrate the miracle of the manger, let us receive the love that God has sent through Jesus.  Only through believing in God's Son as the Savior of the world can we understand the love of God.  The Holy Spirit living in our heart will help us to spread this message to others.

This Christmas let others know about the saving love of God by reaching out to them in a way they can see Jesus in you.  Love your neighbors, bless those who have been unkind, and pray for those who have hurt you.

"And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us command(ment).
(1 John 3:23 NKJV)

"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God;
and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.  He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another."  (1 John 4:7-11 NKJV)
