Verse of the Month
“Labor not to be rich.” Proverbs 23:4-5
September 15-21, 2015
Scripture Reading: Jeremiah 5:3
Are you a person who is able to receive correction for your actions and not get angry? I know that for me sometimes it can be a source of contention if I let it. God tells us that in order for us to be used to glorify Him, we must have a servant’s heart that is willing to be corrected.
A good servant receives correction and makes the changes needed for improvement. Ask the Lord to help you receive the correction you need so you can grow spiritually and be used by Him.
“A wise man will hear and do so he will increase learning.” (Proverbs 1:5)
