Showers of Blessings 

Listening to the weather report on the evening news can cause people to think that rain is an evil thing. 

 

“Another rainy weekend, when will all of this bad weather end?”  They don’t seem to realize that if they want food to eat and water to drink, it must rain. 

God has promised showers of blessing upon His people.  Not just the physical blessing of rain, but the showers of blessing that come from the Spirit of God to the spirit of man!  These blessings come in the form of dwelling in peace and safety, health and healing, and living a prosperous and blessed life of abundance here on earth. 

So the next time the weather forecast calls for rain, be uplifted and give thanks to the Lord for ALL the showers of blessing that are coming your way!  There shall be showers of blessing…this is the promise of God! (JW)
