Ultimate Sacrifice
“By this we know love, because He laid down His
life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the
brethren.” (1 John 3:16)
Sometimes
you wonder if those that sign up to serve our country really realize the
importance of their mission. Have they
really thought of all the scenarios that could happen? If they did, would they still want to serve?
God’s
Word teaches that Jesus willfully laid down His life for His brethren because
of love. This week tell someone who
served your country to protect and keep you safe, thank you for their love and
service.
One
was sacrificed so others may live!
God’s
Word defines love as action, not feelings.
We show our love by our actions toward others. Thank You Lord for those who acted in love so
I could live in a free country and serve You.
