Verse of the Month
“…God is not unjust to forget your work and
labor of love,
which you have shown toward Him.” Hebrews 6:10a
March 15-21st, 2015
Scripture
Reading: Psalm 1:1
Who
Are You Listening to?
Whenever we are going through something new, we tend to
ask people for their advice, because it seems like a natural thing to do, after
all, they’ve already been through the same thing. However, if you ask the wrong
people for their advice, you’re situation could turn out much differently than
you expected.
The Bible tells us to seek godly counsel and not seek the
world for advice. You want to be blessed
in making the right decisions. The world
cannot give the counsel of God or see His vision for you. The world doesn’t operate like God.
Before you run to your neighbor, acquaintance or even
family, ask God whom He would have you seek counsel. He will lead you into all righteousness.
“Blessed is the man who walks not in the
counsel of the ungodly (wicked).” Psalm 1:1 (also read verses 1-6)
