Graduating into Life

Verse of the Month

“To the chosen lady and her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all those who have known the truth, because of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever.”
(2 John 1-2)

Graduating into Life

June 17th, 1974 was a day I won’t forget.  Thousands of people were sitting in the stands of the football field waiting for their child to walk in and be announced as a graduate.  The graduates were lined up by two’s waiting for the music to begin.  For some graduates it was a wonderful time with family and friends.  But for others, it was a time of terror and uneasiness to graduate into real life!
My family gave me the option of taking the summer off, because “I’d be working the rest of my life,” they said.  My husband didn’t have that option and was given one week to get his life in order or move out.  Two different stories, but one ending.  God was in our decision making that night.  Years later, God is still in all our decisions and we are still making them together.  No matter how your “story” is going now, remember with God the ending is always good.
“Trust Him and He will direct your path.” Proverbs 3:6
