Rededicated

Verse of the month

“…the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)

Scripture Reading: James 5

Rededicated

Each January 1st, millions of people make New Year’s resolutions.  Just a few of the resolutions that I have heard over the years are:  to lose weight, exercise more, spend less and save more, etc.  Many of these resolutions are never carried out and the expected change in the individual’s life never takes place.

As born again believers in Jesus Christ we need to make some changes in our lives as well.  We need to be more dedicated to prayer, the Word, praise and worship, and giving.  These changes, if made with all obedience and diligence, will not only change us, but will change the world around us.

To prove that these four things can change you and the world, please look up the following passages of scripture:

Prayer: James 5:16
The Word: Hebrews 4:12
Praise and Worship: Psalm 22:3 & vs.27
Giving: Luke 6:38

Let us dedicate this New Year to the Lord and rededicate our lives to Him.  Give Him the honor that is due Him.  Make changes today that will last for eternity!  Time is growing very short.  The day of His appearing is at hand.
