Where Were You?

Verse of the month 

“…the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God,

who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).

Scripture Reading:  Psalm 89 

Where Were You? 

“And the Heavens shall praise thy wonders, O lord: Thy

faithfulness also  in the congregation of the saints” (Psalm 89:5). 

The sign on the Church said “Worship Service Sunday 11 A.M.”  The Pastor arrived early, turned the heat up and prepared for God’s people to come and hear the Word of Faith.  Where were you? 

At 11 A.M. with only a handful of faithful people, the service started.  Where were you? 

Psalm 149:1, “Praise ye the Lord.  Sing unto the Lord a new song, and His praise in the congregation of saints.”  The faithful group sang praises and worshipped the Lord.  They gave their tithes and offerings unto the Lord.  They prayed.  Where were you? 

The Pastor preached to the few as if they were the many.  He let the Holy Spirit lead!  The faithful group received a blessing from the Word of God.  Where were you? 

Sadly, you weren’t there when God’s house was open.  You had other things taking up your time and your mind.  You missed out on a blessing from the Word.  There was a seat for you, but you didn’t fill it.  The Lord had prepared a table before you, but you didn’t keep your reservation. 

When we all gather in one place and in one accord, great things will happen.  (Read Acts 2:1-12). 

Another Sunday is upon us.  The Pastor will arrive early to turn the heat up and prepare for God’s people to come and hear the Word of Faith.  Where will you be?
