New Year, New Life

Verse of the Month

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4 NKJV)

January 1st – 7th

Scripture Reading:  Revelation 21:4

New Year … New Life

It’s hard to believe that we’ve come to the end of another year.  Well how did you measure up this year?  Did you keep all those New Year’s resolutions that you promised to keep?

If you’re like most of us you may have kept one or two of those self- promises.  When Jesus came to take away the sins of the world, He kept a promise to the Heavenly Father.  He never went back on His word, even though He could have.  He made a resolution that would last for eternity, if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.  He resolved a problem forever.

Just as this year is beginning, your life can become brand new too by trusting Jesus as you Savior.  Jesus said that He is the only way to a new life, and when the year ends, your new life in Christ doesn’t.  It remains new forever.

You can become a new creation in Christ right now by asking Jesus into your heart today.  Believe on Him right now by saying the prayer of salvation.

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4 NKJV)
