Help Comes

Verse of the month 

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills.  From whence comes my help?
 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”

Psalm 121:1-2

Help Comes

With so much distress and unsettledness among the nations I find myself reading through the Psalms more and more don’t you?  One of the reasons I turn to this book is that it is full of promises and hope from the Lord for our everyday lives.  

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills.  From whence comes my help?
 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”

Psalm 121:1-2

When feeling overwhelmed by the issues of life, as a believer in Christ Jesus all we need to do is look to Heaven for our help. Christians have a promise that The Lord will never leave or forsake us and that applies to all situations at any time.

Whatever the problem, God is more than capable of providing all you need to help in the situation.  No matter the circumstances, God already knows about it and is willing to see you through to the other side. 

^“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,

And saves such as have a contrite spirit."

(Psalm 34:17-18 NKJV)

Jesus hears your cry and is ready right now to give you the peace needed as you look to Him for help.  Help will come if you trust God with the details. (cw)
