Three Little Words

“God reigns over the nations; God sits on His Holy throne.”

Three Little Words

"Breaking News" seems to be flashing across our TV and computer screens more than usual.  With media bombarding so much negativity it sends an alarm of fear and uncertainty. The best thing to do at those moments is to turn off the electronics and stop believing the lies of the devil.

I’m not suggesting to cut ourselves off from society, or be oblivious to what’s happening, but don’t be persuaded by worldly beliefs.  Those who put their faith in the Lord shouldn't be taken in by what the world is reporting, but trust in God because He reigns over everything including nations.

“God reigns over the nations; God sits on His Holy throne.”

(Psalm 47:8 NKJV)

Say among the nations, the LORD reigns; the world also is firmly established.  It shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples righteously.” 

(Psalm 96:10 NKJV)

Christians are to share the message to live by faith not fear, and that our hope is in the Lord.  We should never forget that He is in control and rejoice in these three little words – the Lord reigns!

When others look at a believer, they expect to see a confident person, not a mass of emotions or a bundle of nerves.  Whatever is happening in your life, learn to expect God to strengthen you for a good out come.

“Your sandals shall be iron and bronze; as your days,

so shall your strength be.” (Deuteronomy 33:25 NKJV)

Believe God will supply you with all the strength you need during difficult and trying times.  Be comforted by those three little words knowing the Lord will see you through it all. (cw)

Let the earth rejoice in these three little words:

The Lord Reigns. (Psalm 97:1).
