Faith Moments Daily Bible Reading and Online Devotionals
The long holiday weekend is over and people are excited to start the year with great plans in mind. I'm no diferent ... even though I haven't reached all my goals for the previous year, it doesn't stop me from adding to the list making it almost impossible to get it all done.
There isn't a problem with having new goals or dreams, but there is one big issue - time! We often forget that God has put a limit of days for each of us to live on this earth, and chasing after dreams that are not in line with His best for us simply steals our time for fulfilling those God-given dreams.
As you make plans for this year, keep God's plan foremost on your list, making time to do those things first. In the end you will be rewarded in this lifetime and in Heaven.
Along with our devotionals for further study, let us also be mindful of our Daily Bible Reading (DBR) as well this year. Our daily morning and evening reading schedule is quite helpful and geared to help the individual read through the entire Bible in one year at a pace that is easy to follow.
