Prayer of Salvation

 

Would you like to become a child of God?  If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you can change your life today by simply praying this prayer out loud before the Lord!  You must believe these things by faith.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to you in Jesus’ name confessing that I believe I have sinned against You.  

Your Word says that if I confess with my mouth and believe that You raised Your Son Jesus from the dead I will be forgiven of all my sins.

“And it will come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD Jesus will be saved.” (Acts 2:21)

“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes, unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10)

I believe what You said and confess that Jesus is Lord of my life.  I believe that You raised Him from the dead and Jesus is alive in Heaven with You now.  Forgive me of all my sins and change me now.

“Jesus said, ‘Most surely, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirt, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God (Heaven).  Those who are born of the flesh are flesh, and those who are born of the Spirit (of God) are spirit. Do not be surprised of what I say to you, you must be born again and get saved.

For God loved the world so much that He gave us His only Begotten Son Jesus, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Jesus would be saved.” (John 3:5-7,16,17)

“But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you.  Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Jesus Christ in them, they are not His (part of God).  And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of Righteousness.  But if the Spirit of God who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, God who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies (and raise you too) through His Spirit who lives in you.” (Romans 8:9-11)

Thank you Lord for saving me today.  I will live my life for you and tell others of your saving grace.

Receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit

 

Dear Heavenly Father,

You said that my salvation is a rebirth of my spirit and that I can be filled with Your Spirit if I ask.  Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit and give me the ability to speak with other tongues.  I ask to receive my full salvation gifts so that they are manifested in my life right now.

“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him.” (Luke 11:13)

“And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (ability to speak in a different language other than their own.)” (Acts 2:4)

I believe I have received in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
