God Saw It Coming

How many times did the unexpected throw you off balance and you didn't see it coming? Although you may not have expected the events that have occurred, God did.

The good news is that He is never surprised when life throws a curve ball, but in fact has already laid out the outcome.  We cannot know the events that will take place in our life, but we can be at peace in the truth that God knows the end from the beginning.

“Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other;

I am God, and there is none like Me.  Declaring the end from the beginning,

and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure.”  (Isaiah 46:9-10 NKJV)

God knows things before they happen, and what will take place in our life. We can put our trust in Him, because He sees everything coming and has it all worked out already.

“For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O Lord,

You know it altogether.” (Psalm 139:4 NKJV)

“And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”  

(Hebrews 4:13 NKJV)

Let it bring comfort that God is in control, and seize this opportunity to draw near to Him by faith. (cw)
