A Gift from Our Heavenly Father 

  Dads, like Moms, are truly wonderful gifts from God.  They are fun and very versatile.  Look at how many things you talked your dad into doing with you and for you over the years.  You know many times he didn’t feel like it, especially after a long day at work, but he did it anyway. 

Fathers are strong and loving.  They provided for us when we were young and couldn’t fend for ourselves, and continue to watch out for you even as you get older and raise your own family. 

Today is the day we honor our Dads and today should be the day that we let Dad know just how we feel.   

Girls thank Dad for letting you go on that first date, even though he felt like running that boy clean out of town, because no one is good enough for his little girl.  Guys, thank Dad for showing you the ropes  and for being a Godly example in a sinful world. 

Be a blessing to your Dad today.  He certainly has been a blessing from God to you!
