Restoring
God’s Family
The
Word of God teaches us that as children of God, it is our responsibility to
help rebuild His family and Kingdom.
In
Isaiah 58:12 the word “they” is referring to the Christians. We will be the ones who bring the lost to
Christ and help repair to God what satan has stolen from Him.
“And they that will be of Thee (Jesus)
will build the old waste
places (places of ruin) you will raise up the
foundations of many generations; and you will be called, the repairer of the
breach,
the
restorer of the paths to dwell in.” (Isaiah 58:12)
Yes,
God has been stolen from, but praise God we are able to help rebuild His
Kingdom by spreading the gospel message of Jesus Christ.
Through
the blood of Jesus the breach has been restored, and with the might of the Holy
Spirit, we are called to the Lord.
Without God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit we could not finish the work
of Christ, and the foundation of the earth would remain in ruins.
Praise
God that Jesus is our cornerstone and we have been restored to our Master and
Maker. Thank you Lord for a firm
foundation!
It
is an honor to be called to His service.
It is an awesome task we are given and we should be pleased God wants to
use us.
