God Hears the Prayers
of the United Church
It’s
nice for any pastor to see new faces in the service each week, along with the
faithful regular church family. God
promises that He would add to the church daily if the congregation would be
faithful to Him in praying for the lost and being a witness. In order for the church to be added to, the
current church has to be willing to share the Word of God and lead others to
the Lord.
God
added to the Body of Christ each day when the people prayed in agreement,
fellowshipped with one another and did it with a glad heart. I’m glad that people were in agreement when I
got saved; otherwise who knows where I’d be today. Thank you Lord for the witness that was
willing to go forth so the church could be added to daily.
“And they daily continued with one accord in
the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness
and singleness of heart, and the Lord added to the church daily.” (Acts 2:27)
