Honoring Grandparent’s
I
enjoy watching grandparents spending time with their grandchildren. The children really love the attention, and
the grandparents are more than willing to accommodate them!
My
grandparents passed away before I was born preventing me from experiencing the
wonderful relationship that some of my friends had with their
grandparents. I often thought about this
growing up and wondered what it would have been like if they had been around.
Did
you grow up with grandparents? Did you
bake cookies with grandma or stack firewood with grandpa? Do you remember the stories they told you as
you sat on their lap, eager to hear the tales of their younger days?
If
you have fond memories of great times with your grandparents, let them know
today. Let them just how much of a
blessing they have been to you. Share a
testimony or verse of scripture with them and tell them just how much you love
them!
“Gray hair is a crown of splendor: it is attained by a righteous life.”
