Verse
of the Month
“Therefore, my
beloved brethren, be stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the
Lord, forasmuch as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” (I Corinthians 15:58).

Birds Give Voice
We’ve
heard that “listening ears” could be everywhere, but did you ever think that
you had to watch what you say around birds?
Ecclesiastes
10:20 bids us to not talk about those who rule over us, or to be envious or
jealous of those who are rich. We aren’t
even to think these thoughts at bedtime because a little bird could carry your
words off and tell the matter. In other
words, the devil and his co-workers are listening to you! Watch what you say.
Since
you never know who is listening or who wants to drag your name through the mud,
its best to give no voice to adverse matters. Let God handle your life and
speak only His Words, that way if a bird wants to gossip and carry a tale, he
will be spreading the Gospel! (J/CW)
