Verse
of the Month
“Therefore, my
beloved brethren, be stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the
Lord, forasmuch as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” (I Corinthians 15:58)

Reading: Philippians 4:13-14
Starting Over
There
are times in every believer’s life when something from our past rises up in our
thinking and tries to condemn us. We
must know first and foremost that it is the devil, not God, bringing these
things back to our remembrance.
The
condemning thoughts can take no root in your life because the Word of God says
that “There is no condemnation to those
in Christ Jesus, who walk not after
flesh but after the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1)
We
cannot and must not try to go back and change the past. We must start new…make a new starting point
in our lives, putting God at the forefront, and taking up our position right
behind Him.
God
is a God of second chances. The shed
blood of His Son has covered all of your sins.
Start over with Him at the helm of your life. He will deliver you out of all your troubles.
