Great Is Thy Goodness

There are more times than I can count where I’ve heard people talk about the faithfulness of God, but I don’t often hear about His goodness.  Yet the Word of God is full of passages that declare the goodness of God - Psalm 31:19, Jeremiah 31:14, and Psalm 27:13 just to name a few.

You may wonder, "How do we experience such goodness and blessings from God as scriptures declare"? The only way to receive His goodness is to completely follow Him by placing your faith and trust in Jesus as your Savior. 

The enemy, satan, knows that your faith is valuable.  He will steal the blessings and good things God has for you through fear, doubt and worry.  Placing our trust in those things robs us of the goodness that is laid aside for those who put their trust in the Lord.  Don’t give into the lies of the devil.

How great is the goodness You (Jehovah) have stored up for those who fear You (the Lord). You lavish it on those who come to You for protection, blessing them before the watching world (in the sight of everyone).

Do not be discouraged, God will bless those who remain faithful to Him.  He knows what the devil is trying to do, so do not lose heart.  You will see God’s goodness on your life.

As you daily put your trust in the Lord you too will testify, “Oh how great is Thy goodness, which You have laid up for those that fear and trust in You.” (cw)
