Pastor Appreciation Day

Pastor/Clergy appreciation is something that the Bible tells us to honor, and not only for a day or month, but on a regular basis.  The Word of God describes those that lead others to the Lord as wise, and that they will be remembered for their good word eternally.  If God recognizes the work of winning souls as something valuable, shouldn't we acknowledge those individuals who have influenced us toward the things of the Lord as well?

Throughout the month let them know how much they have changed your life by writing a letter or poem.  Give a gift of kindness or dedicate an entire service with congregational members giving testimony and thanks for their faithful service. 

Most of all make it a point to encourage and uplift those who have taught you the Word in prayer on a regular basis.  Never let a time go by when you have the opportunity to give thanks to those who have taught you well in living your best life for God.
