How Would You Answer these Questions?

As I am sitting at the computer writing this the sounds of thunder roars in the distance as the city siren is sounding and my phone alarm is telling us to take cover.  Another storm is in the area with warnings of a tornado threatening the city. With so much destruction from wars, violence, hatred, and "natural disasters, the "world" is seeking counsel from people of faith for answers.

For a believer, these things are part of the "tribulation" of this world. The only difference is that we understand why they are happening and have the peace gift from God to help us overcome each situation.

"In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I (Jesus speaking) have overcome the world."
 John 16:33

Some of the most common religious questions asked (especially around Easter) are "Do You Believe Jesus Is Alive?"  and if He is, why does He allow so many bad things to happen?

Another is, did Jesus die only to forgive sins of believers?  If someone asked you these difficult life questions, how would you answer?  For more insight read our holiday devotional on this subject.
