Verse of the month
“Thanks be unto God which always causes me to triumph in
Christ…” 2 Corinthians 2:14
Week of January
15-21, 2016
Scripture Reading:
Matthew 11:28-30
Don’t Lick the Glass
Children
would stare at the delicious candies displayed in the window and would actually
lick the glass. If they went inside,
they would be able to taste and partake of the store’s specialties.
Many
believers are just like those children.
They stand outside, seeing the benefits and blessings of the Lord but
never step inside to receive them.
In
Matthew 11:28 Jesus said, “Come unto me…and I will give you rest.”
God’s
blessings of health, healing, prosperity, in fact ALL of His blessings are
available to every believer. We don’t
have to be on the outside looking in, and never receiving.
The
Lord is telling you today, “Don’t lick
the glass, come inside and receive My very best!” (jw)
