Before You Say I Do

Verse of the month 

“…Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.”

Before You Say I Do 

Preparing for a big merger of any kind can be overwhelming and exciting. When two or more come into an agreement whether it is forming a company, team or especially marriage, before you say I do make sure those coming into the union agree this is the base foundation:

"That the LORD will be magnified and exalted over all else."

There are so many things to consider when forming anything.  Marriage agreements sometimes falter based on the wrong kind of love. However, if that love is founded on God, He will bless it.

A well known Christian said that he used this verse as the foundation when he asked his girl to marry him.  Over the years their marriage has seen some rough terrain in business and personally, but they always magnified Christ in every situation.  Putting the Lord above all things has led them unto victory every time.  

No matter what course your life takes, it will include other people.  Always keep scripture in the forefront giving God the glory before ever saying I do to anything.

“And now abides faith, hope, and charity (love), these three;

but the greatest of these is charity (love).”  (I Corinthians 13:13)
