Verse of the Month
“For as the earth brings forth its bud, As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.”
(Isaiah 61:11 NKJV)

Scripture Reading: Romans 8:32
Giving Your Way to Blessings
An essential way of tapping into God’s blessings
is to understand the “why” and “way” He does anything. As we move forward on our walk with Christ, we
learn that God practiced what He asks us to do when He gave His Only Begotten
Son, Jesus, to redeem all men of their sins.
“He who did not spare His Own
Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely
give us all things?”
(Romans 8:32 NKJV)
God gave us all things and has created
various ways for us to operate as givers so that His blessings will flow into
our lives. Giving from our material
goods (resources) and of ourselves through time, opens Heaven’s doors of
blessings that enable us to carry out the work of Christ in spreading the good
news of salvation.
Throwing a few dollars in the offering
bucket at church isn’t the kind of giving God is looking for to bless. Prayerful consideration where and when to contribute
to Christian ministries and godly outreaches like Living Legacy Bible Foundation
or Christmas H.O.P.E. demonstrates to the Lord that He can trust you with
abundance. It shows Him that you understand the reason behind His giving of His
Son.
“For God loved the world so much that He
gave His Only Begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him (Jesus) will not
perish but will have life everlasting.” (from John 3:16)
When we give it should be from our heart and love for Jesus because of what He did for us on the cross. Giving is an act
of love and a way to be a blessing.
Ask the Lord to show where He wants you
to give this week, then be obedient and act on His direction. As you prayerfully give more freely God will distribute blessings so that you can live the abundant life Jesus came to give those who
believe.
"The thief comes only in order to
steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in
abundance [to the full, till it overflows]." (John 10:10 AMP)
