Verse of the Month
“For as the earth brings forth its bud, As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.” (Isaiah 61:11 NKJV)
Scripture Reading: 1 John 4:8
Love So Sweet
I found a little card tucked away in a
drawer that we give out to children for the holidays along with some sweet
candy that simply melts in your mouth and … you know it … “not in your
hand.” Apparently, the candy does melt
when you leave it around for months at a time like I did.
The candy melted and the card was ruined,
but the truth that an unknown author declared will always be sweet and
intact.
“This
candy’s sweet but melts away.
Christ
Jesus’ love is here to stay.
He died for
you and rose again,
His love for
you will never end.”
Over the course of your Easter holiday in
the midst of all the sweet celebrations, make sure that people become
acquainted with the message of Christ’s love.
His sweet love can never melt away or be misplaced.
“The one who
does not love has not become acquainted with God
(does not and never did know Him),
for God is love.
(He is the originator of love, and it is an enduring attribute
of His nature.)
(1 John 4:8 Amp)
