National Week of Prayer

National Week of Prayer

Today we begin a special National Week of Prayer leading up to America’s National Day of Prayer, which is the first Thursday in May.  Although this is an American event, all believers from every nation are encouraged to take part as we seek God’s face for salvation, healing and mercy for our land(s).

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves,

and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then

I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

(2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV)

This year's theme is "Pray God's Glory Across the Earth" based on the scripture in Habakkuk 2:14:

"For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, 

as the waters cover the sea."

Each day we will unite in prayer and enter God’s throne room covering seven specific subjects throughout the week.  A reminder will be posted here and on our Facebook site daily to pray throughout the day.

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we

may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

(Hebrews 4:16 NKJV)

We begin this National Week of Prayer by praying for the family. (cw)
