God of the Present

God of the Present

There are situations that happen in our lives that cause us to wonder whether or not we’re making the right decisions, because nothing seems to be working out for our “good” like the Bible says.  Daily frustrations in the simple things often throw us off task, which leads us to think maybe we’ve been off course all along.

You pray, ask God’s direction and events outside your control seem to take you way out of your comfort zone.  Somewhere along the way you have gotten off target in your calling and wonder if you’ll even fulfill it.  You’re about ready to give up and have lost hope.

Let me share this – good things are coming!  How do I know?  When God sets a plan in motion, nothing can stop it from coming to pass.

Whatever happened in the past doesn’t matter, because God is working on your today!  He is ever present in whatever is happening in your life and will be faithful to complete what He began in you.

“He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:24 NKJV)

“The One Who called you is faithful and will do what He promised.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:24 NLT)

Just because everything hasn’t worked out the way we think it should doesn’t mean that God isn’t turning the hearts of man to change a situation on our behalf.  God is always present and He never changes.

Jesus is the same yesterday, in our present situation or daily activities, and in our future.  Take heart, He will faithfully be there every time and any time we call on Him. (cw)
